Adam and Kostas, founders of Garden City Grow Club

About

We started Garden City Grow Club in Victoria, BC after noticing something simple: while maintaining a vegetable garden can be quite enjoyable, establishing a new garden is the main hurdle we face in producing our own food. Planning a garden and gathering supplies takes a free weekend that many don’t have, and constructing and planting one takes another. So we built the easy-button for urban food production.

Adam brings his background in design, construction, and permaculture to Grow Club. From garden designs to off-grid timber frame homes, his work has focused on what provides for life. Adam leads installs, materials, and design process—ensuring every garden is built to perform, endure, and add beauty to your living space.

Kostas comes from a background in human geography, where culture and community are seen for the living systems that they are. For him, it’s about building community capacity and a shared language for modern urban growers. He leads the organizational and community implications of our project.

Together, we bridge design, food security, and community. With Garden City Grow Club, we aim to make home-grown food more accessible.
